25 July: Our logs are loaded up to LOTW with a 27% confirmation rate. We will send our QSL order to the printer early next week. Thanks for all the cards received and the nice comments! The support from the ham community was super and made the trip a wonderful experience for us. We enjoyed giving out new ones for folks and pushing the edges a bit like PSK31 which was new for me.
20 July: Back home. Had fun, thanks for all the QSOs!
15 July: Leaving Miquelon, will operate a little from the hotel in St. Pierre tomorrow. Fly to Sydney NS on Thursday. Still trying 6M on 50.112 but no openings this far north. We did have a good opening last week to middle and south USA and to EA8 area.
12 July: Ready for IARU. (Matthew switched to 50 Watts after very little luck with QRP)
08 July: We are in Miquelon. Good news - the MOTEL DE MIQUELON (aka Maxotel) is reopening. They are not ready yet but we are allowed to stay at the Maxotel and set up our antennas. We put up one set for 80-10M this afternoon and should be on starting tonight for a while. There is wifi but it is weak in the room.
11 June: We just learned on 9 June that our reservations for the Maxotel Hotel on Miquelon were cancelled. The hotel was unable to open this season. We have made other arrangements on the island but, at this time, are not sure if our antenna capabilities will be limited. Our quarters may also be smaller making it difficult to have two stations on simultaneously. Some of this will not be settled until we are on Miquelon.
